Doctoral Thesis final defense passed!
Today I have passed my final degree exam in order to be a Doctor in Engineering Sciences with specialization in Informatics. Although I was very confindent in my presentation, the rewiewing comitee did a lot of questions and suggestions for future work in my area. In this exam, I got a score of 6.8 (out of 7.0), meaning that my exam is approved with maximum distinction.
For those who may not know, the objective of my doctoral thesis is to predict user's search task difficulty in traditional web search engines based on behavioral patterns during the query formulation phase (keystroke speed, timings of actions, among others). I hope soon to reveal final results as a paper.
Thank you for reading, soon more news.
